DEFENCE Minister Geoffrey Mwamba has challenged Patriotic Front (PF) officials in Northern Province to explain the development projects Government is carrying out in the region.
And Northern Province Minister Obius Chisala has thanked Mr Mwamba for ironing out some perceived differences with party officials in the province.
Mr Mwamba says President Sata and his administration are doing a lot to facilitate equitable development across the country.
He observed that the PF promised to improve the lives of all Zambians and so far, Government is on course in achieving its goals.
Mr Mwamba, who is also Kasama Central member of Parliament, was speaking in Kasama yesterday when he met PF officials.
He urged party officials to put aside their differences and work together for the common good.
Mr Mwamba said bickering among party members will not help the party to mobilise more members.
And speaking at the same function, Mr Chisala said Mr Mwamba had done a good job to put some differences to rest among some party officials in the province.
Mr Chisala said he is ready to partner with all members of Parliament in Northern Province to foster development, which local people are looking forward to.
He urged party officials to unite and engage in constructive dialogue whenever they have divergent views.
Meanwhile, PF officials in Kasama have resolved to work with Mr Mwamba in fostering development. – ZANIS.
