SUPER Division side Napsa Stars have appointed Hector Chilombo as coach.
Chilombo, who confirmed the appointment in an interview yesterday, said he has been offered a two-year contract.
He said Napsa hired him on January 1, 2014.
Chilombo replaces Peter Kaumba, who parted company with the club on mutual consent.
Napsa finished 12th last season with 37 points.
“I have left Forest Rangers and I am now with Napsa Stars. I was given an appointment letter on January 1,” said the former Profund Warriors, City of Lusaka and Zambia defender.
Chilombo tutored City of Lusaka and was an assistant coach at Power Dynamos before moving back to Forest last year.
Forest were demoted to the lower ranks at the end of last season alongside Lime Hotspur, Kalulushi Modern Stars and Nkwazi.
Meanwhile, Forest have rehired Mathews Njovu as coach after the former Kabwe Warriors winger ditched Lime.
Forest vice-chairman Richard Kalasa confirmed the engagement of Njovu.
Njovu will be assisted by former Power Dynamos striker Kellies ‘Paymaster’ Mwaba.
