THE Zambia national team has been given a free Sunday after intensive weeklong preparations for the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 qualifier against Lesotho this Saturday.
The squad conducted a morning workout at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium annex field before they broke off but will regroup tonight to resume training for the Saturday encounter.
Jacob Mulenga and Fwayo Tembo from their respective bases in Netherlands and Romania respectively are expected to join the team today. James Chamanga and Christopher Katongo link up with the squad later in the week.
The Chipoloplo technical bench has decided not to talk to the media but some officials confirmed the teams break.
