Sata takes a working break

PRESIDENT Sata will take a 14-day working holiday after attending the 22nd Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government Summit here.
According to a statement issued by special assistant to the President for press and public relations George Chellah, Mr Sata will this Saturday leave the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, for the working visit.
President Sata, who is accompanied by First Lady Christine Kaseba, will depart Ethiopia this weekend for a two weeks working holiday vacation after the official closing of the 22nd Ordinary Session of the AU Heads of State and Government Summit in Addis Ababa.
The summit is being held under the theme “Agriculture and food security”.
The heads of state and government are expected to deliberate on Agenda 2063, a 50-year strategic plan which envisages a prosperous Africa and the possibility of the formation of a Confederation of African States.
Also on the agenda of the summit is the security situation in South Sudan, Central African Republic (CAR) and eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
